 A Decent sweater
« Thread Started on Oct 21, 2009, 7:27am »

I found a nice sweater that I am happy with. I looked at David Millers, It was the closest but was $185. I looked into customsweaters.com and that was over $300.

Hot Topic has a very close sweater with the red neck, shoulder and wrists and it is only $26.

I started aging it last night, I used a photo of the real sweater and it is coming out really nice. My airbrush crapped out on me though so I havent got the dirty look to it yet.

I have the licensed sweater but it is really thin and crap. The colors are all wring and in wrong places, ie: green neck and shoulders.

This is an awesome sweater for the price. People already are trying to re sell them on ebay. Sooooo easy to do it yourself.
I will post pics soon if anyone is interested.

This is a movie prop sweater that I found that was screen used and was used on promotional photos. This is the one I am tryig to dupicate.

This is my new hot topic sweater size Medium, fitls up to 44, it fits me snug and still will strech. Im 5-10 ans 175 lbs.

This is after I started weathering and aging the sweater by cutting it in the same areas that I see in the original photo.

I have been interested in a Dave Miller Sweater for quite some time but never bought as well! I too picked up the HT Freddy sweater and LOVE IT!! People, this is the sweater to get for under $30 that looks awesome! So if you have a local Hot Topic hurry there and check it out. I am sure it is a Halloween only item.

Here it is online!

I don t know what I did wrong to post the pics from photobucket. Any advice to ease the process? I will try again later. Anyway check hottopic.com and look up mens halloween apparel.
It is listed as a red and brown striped sweater, but it is red and olive green. Very authentic to the older movies. The New movie has a different stripe pattern.

Aw, man, that's a great sweater. Unfortunately there's no Hot Topic anywhere near where I live. I'm not even sure where the closest one is. Probably Toronto.

Just grab it from online GASH! And BlueShield, use BBC coding not HTML. BBC code starts with [IMG]

Here is my Hot Topic sweater that I used for Halloween. I weathered it myself! Which was half the fun!

Exactly. I prefer gloves and sweaters with that authentic dirty Freddy feel. Clean isn't scary. ;D

the sweater Im wearing in my picks I picked up at target this year. Its red and brown, but was cloe enough for me to start with and is actually a really nice sweater. I bought another one to wear regularly because I plan on weathering this one down.
